We addicts are very good at inviting dangerous things into our life. Dangerous as in they threaten our life’s stability, emotional stability, social status and so on. Addiction occurs when we get fixated on some or more of these dangerous things and form a painful relationship with them. Addicts end things badly in a relationship. A healthy end is very unlikely for an addict. After all, He can’t make a healthy end for his disease and thus he has to go to a hospital.

  1. Accept
  2. Gratitude/Surrender

 

Accept and address the situation. You don’t have to correct anybody or their opinion on the  matter. Just accept that these people are not trying to help.

Then, Remind yourself why you are even living in the first place. Be grateful for all that you have and not regretful for all that you don’t.
